One skill at a time
Each worksheet focuses on a specific task, such as comparing fractions or adding with regrouping. Its explanation, worked example and teaching notes describe that task.
The range controls depend on the skill. For equivalent fractions, they set the starting denominator; for decimal addition, they use counts of hundredths. The help beside each range explains what to enter.
Answers and diagrams
Fractions are calculated as fractions, and decimal questions keep their stated precision. For example, 0.10 + 0.20 gives 0.30. Circle answers stay in terms of π when the instructions ask for an exact value.
Diagrams use the same values as their questions and answers. Use the labeled lengths and perpendicular heights for calculations. Measuring angles is different: those diagrams are drawn for use with a protractor.
Make the same worksheet again
The same skill, generator version, seed and settings produce the same questions. New version changes the seed to give you another set.
The Content ID helps you compare worksheets, but keep the actual PDF when you need an exact copy for later. A seed from an older generator version may not reproduce the same questions after an update.
Check the sheet before you use it
Automated checks cover arithmetic examples, repeatable question sets, invalid settings, page layout and content links. These checks help catch errors, but you should still review the instructions, questions and answers for your session.
The number range is one part of choosing suitable practice. Two worksheets can use the same range yet require different amounts of regrouping or working space. Look at the questions themselves before using them as comparable practice.
